Our story
We are Belgian, chocolatier, pâtissier and bakery since 1911. We are the 4th generation.
Until one day we decided to turn our lives around completely.
Because my wife is such a good cook, we thought it would be a wonderful idea to bring our talents together.
By chance we ended up in Italy, Tuscany. In 2012 we settled with friends in San Gimignano at Poderi Del Paradiso. A wine farm on the edge of the Chianti region in Tuscany. We stayed there for 6 months until we found our home in Casole d'Elsa. A beautiful landscape where we started a small Bed and Breakfast called Bacciolina Di Sopra.
But after 10 years our dream has changed, we missed the sea. We went to the South of Tuscany and there we found a charming villa, halfway between the mountains of Scarlino in the heart of Maremma and 5 minutes from the beach.
The villa is surrounded by 200 olive trees on 1ha of land. We pick the olives ourselves and then have them pressed. The oil is of DOC quality, really super tasty!
My wife uses this daily in the kitchen.
Our goal is to enjoy life. We want to be surrounded by nature and breathe healthy, fresh air. Daily delicious organic food from the garden, with freshly baked bread and a Tuscan wine!
